Margaret-Elise “Mags” Winter is a proud Chicago native whose diverse academic and professional background brings depth and perspective to her work at JELLER Wealth Management. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Mags earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a double major in psychology and Scandinavian studies. Balancing academics with employment throughout college, she developed strong skills in communication, research and project management – tools that now inform her thoughtful and client-centered approach.

Mags’ professional journey includes experience in financial operations, government accounting and personal bookkeeping for small businesses. Her ability to collaborate across industries and connect with people from all walks of life has strengthened her belief in the importance of empathy and genuine communication. She embraces the idea that meaningful growth happens when we meet people where they are, a value that aligns directly with JELLER Wealth Management’s mission to provide responsive, relationship-driven service.

In addition to being a registered Notary Public, Mags is actively pursuing further financial certifications to continue expanding her expertise. She believes she is recognized for her ability to quickly and holistically understand complex problems, ask clear and direct questions and design flexible solutions that serve clients’ evolving needs.

Beyond her professional work, Mags is an engaged member of her community. She volunteers with One Tail at a Time, a Chicago-based animal rescue organization, and is a founding member of a local book club. Deeply connected to the city’s culture, she actively seeks out ways to give back and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
