As the founder and managing partner of Jeller Wealth Management, he has built a practice centered on trust, collaboration and a deep commitment to the financial well-being of individuals, families and businesses.
R’s approach is both strategic and personal. He partners closely with clients to develop tailored financial strategies that align with their unique goals, guiding them through every stage of implementation and execution. His work often involves collaboration with a network of trusted professionals – including CPAs, estate planning attorneys and insurance specialists – to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated financial plan. Above all, he remains committed to acting solely in the best interest of his clients, free from bias or external pressure.
A proud graduate of Florida A&M University, R holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the institution. Before entering the financial services industry, he spent several years at Ford Motor Company, where he traveled extensively across the midwest helping dealerships expand and improve their operations. His transition into financial advising began in 2007 with Edward Jones in Oak Park, Illinois. In 2014, he moved his practice to Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, eventually founding JELLER Wealth Management in December 2019 to further his vision of independent, client-first advising.
R holds the Series 7, 24 and 66 securities registrations and is a licensed life and health insurance agent. He is currently securities registered in 25 states and the District of Columbia, and is licensed the California Department of Insurance (License No. 4349189), with Illinois as his resident state.
He and his wife Joslyne reside in Chicago with their three children, whose energy and curiosity continue to inspire them. Together, they are active in their community and enjoy giving back through volunteer work. The family also includes a beloved mastiff who adds joy to their busy lives.
